The Ivorian government has introduced a simplified, fast-track procedure to obtain an electronic visa (also known as pre-registration) for Côte d'Ivoire, for stays of up to 90 days. This covers most reasons for travel: tourism, family, business, medical or study. Only on-site work is prohibited.

For a travel to Côte d'Ivoire, a visawill be required for a stay of 90 days maximum. Before travelling to Côte d'Ivoire, we advise you to apply for your visa at least 7 days before your departure.
The Côte d'Ivoire e-visa is only available for arrival at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. If you decide to arrive at another point of entry, your e-visa will not be recognised; you will need a traditional visa. Your reason for travelling will need to be for tourism, business, medical or for your studies. The rate is €73.00 per traveller, excluding service charges.
When should you travel to Côte d'Ivoire?
From May to July and October to November, the rainy season is strongly felt in the south of the country, so it is not advisable to visit during these periods of the year. From December to April, the dry period is the ideal time to visit Côte d'Ivoire.
